Welcome to My New Blog

I'm really excited to re-introduce my wellness practice under a dynamic new imprint. Over the last 17 years, I have expanded what was originally a massage practice into a multifaceted wellness practice. The new name is merely representative of the increasingly integrative approach I use to help clients attain wellness.

The word "kinetic" refers to the energy of movement. The idea central to many eastern healing modalities is that recovery from injury, illness or dysfunction always stems from removing stagnant, blocked forces, and restoring proper circulation or openness. A healthy body certainly embodies this idea. And what is a healthy mind if not fluid in ideas and emotions- able to smoothly regulate the waves of thought that come in on the tides of each new day? Thus, Kinetic Wellness is all about restoring the free flow of vital energy and bodily motion to your daily life.

While many people merely advertise healing for "mind, body and spirit, " Kinetic Wellness delivers. With adept use of clinical bodywork, keen understanding of the brain-body matrix and guiding principles from eastern medicine,  I facilitate my clients' innate abilities to heal from their cores.

Over the past two decades, my practice has grown to include asian bodywork, clinical & medical hypnosis, oriental medicine, and interdisciplinary wellness consulting. My clients come to me with challenges as varied as infertility, sore backs, bad hips, chemical dependence, and emotional scars.  We attain physical and emotional healing by removing blockages, and restoring balance. Together, clients and I tackle issues from multiple angles, rewarding them with the chance to resolve what were once thought to be "hopeless causes."

Happily, it is rare to meet a person who is truly one dimensional. Like people themselves, our human problems are nearly always more complex. The deceptively simple concept of holism, treating people as whole beings in need of multidimensional healing, is integral to my practice. So please, call or write to find out how bodywork, hypnosis, or a combination of therapies can help you.
